Our second collaboration with the Viya team was a custom creation for a client featuring an ultra rare VS1 Fancy Intense Natural Green Diamond. This .32 carat Diamond strikes the eye as the center of attention and served as the primary inspiration for the ring and its capabilities.

Visceral, powerful, and demanding attention, it earned the name “The Green Meanie”.The Green Meanie was inspired by a sense of renewal. Having trekked some of the most beautiful yet treacherous places around the world, this ring represents the client’s adventures – past, present, and yet to come.

For the first time, we captured this unique stone from mine to manufacture — how it was crafted, where it came from, and how it came to be. This is the first stone of its kind powered by sūnya’s technology with its provenance, authenticity and story, all secured by the blockchain.

Colored diamonds have a special allure, and rare natural color green diamonds may be the most intriguing of them all.

Green Diamonds are said to emulate nature, abundance, and prosperity. The Green color in diamonds is caused by exposure to radiation over millions of years. This natural phenomenon occurs when diamonds come in close contact with radioactive uranium from rocks near the earth's surface, making it extremely unique.

Fancy coloured diamonds are extremely high value stones, yet the story behind them is lost. Our goal was to capture the beauty and the essence of the stone through different data points, showcasing the end to end experience. We worked with a diamond expert to generate a GIA report for every step of the process - from when it was pulled from the mine, when the first level of cutting happened and every step of its creation.Our platform was an opportunity to showcase the end to end story of the stone and bring it all the way back to the end consumer.

Our user personalization enables users to capture memories and share their life stories through their product. Our history section allows you to detail your product’s origin story, history, how each piece was crafted, where the materials came from and who owned it before. Our vault provides a secure online portal to store certificates of authenticity, GIA reports, and product details – all uploaded, easily accessible and secured by the blockchain.

In just under a few weeks, what started as a vision turned into reality. Three diamonds, one being the fancy intense green, encapsulated and cemented in time – empowered by provenance, authenticity, and its own unique story. Every bit of history surrounding the Green Meanie’s journey was captured.

Our client was also able to share the stories of his life and turn his ring into an ever-evolving time capsule of treasured memories, making it an heirloom piece to be passed down for generations to come.

His documents were stored in a secret vault – including his GIA and appraisal reports, certificates of authenticity, product details – securing his investment both on and off the blockchain.
